Northwestern Business Review
Welcome to the Northwestern Business Review, a national business magazine at the forefront of business thought and leadership serving a youth audience with engaging and relevant content. NBR strives to be the voice of youth in business and the voice of business amongst youth, connecting both areas and elevating the dialogue across the spectrum.
Whether you are a product development team trying to predict the “next big thing” on college campuses, the human resources department of an investment bank seeking the nation’s best and brightest, or a student leaping into the competitive business world, NBR is the magazine for you. We seek to facilitate exchange between today’s business world and tomorrow’s business leaders. For information, contact NUisbe@gmail.com.
Minorities in Business
Minorities In Business has remained a cutting edge business group for the third straight year since its development and continues striving to reach new heights both as a group, and for its individual members. Through strategic relationships with programs such as INROADS, SEO, and Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT), and companies like UBS, US Cellular, and the Chicago Board of Options Exchange, MIB through the year has served its mission by helping place several minority students in internships, connecting them with job opportunities, and preparing them not only to enter, but to excel in the workforce. Thanks to the leadership of its talented members, MIB has emerged as the premiere minority business group on campus.
NU Sports Business and Research Group
The Northwestern University Sports Business and Research Group (NUSBR) is devoted to applying analytics to sports business and management. NUSBR focuses on educating members in the area of sports analytics while providing them research and networking opportunities. NUSBR has brought in noted speakers such as Vince Gennaro, John Dewan, and Rick Telander while its members have worked and interned for various professional teams, sports agencies, and statistical firms. With the sports industry rapidly growing in interest and importance, NUSBR is here to provide with opportunities and knowledge for this industry.
Financial Services Group
The Financial Services Group incorporates the three primary areas of finance: Investment Research, Education and Principal Investments.
All of FSG’s divisions have a main educational component, with classes taught by FSG student leaders with experience in investment banking and the hedge fund space. Outstanding candidates are chosen by either of the FSG co-heads to participate in ISBE’s proprietary trading.

Northwestern Student Holdings
Northwestern Student Holdings (NSH) owns and operates multiple student run companies that generate substantial revenues. It is the only group at Northwestern where talented students can get the essential business experience necessary to succeed in today’s marketplace. Currently, we employ over 150 students and business professionals and are governed by a Board of Directors consisting of Northwestern administrators, faculty members and trustees, as well as prominent members of the business community.

ISBE Marketing Association
ISBE Marketing conducts projects for ISBE as well as external sources to give students an opportunity to get real world experience.
They are experts in branding and share this skill throughout the campus. If you are interested in learning more about marketing, this is your group!
Analytics
Analytics specializes in employing quantitative methods to answer a wide array of questions. Most of our work focuses on working with student groups, such as A&O Productions and Associated Student Government, and others, such as Kellogg graduate students. Analytics also conducts campus-wide surveys each quarter to gain knowledge about social trends, research the student body’s satisfaction with various Northwestern services, and investigate other issues important to Northwestern students. For example, during Spring quarter 2009, Analytics conducted a survey during the ASG election campaigns and assessed the correlates of voting behavior and issue importance. Although sub-committees focus on different projects, every member of Analytics contributes to various projects and is encouraged to voice his/her opinion as it applies to individual projects. This makes Analytics a collaborative and driven group.
